Salary: R825 900 Per Annum

Package:

Reports To: Business Systems Support Manager

Purpose of The Job:
To provide IT Business Systems technical support and to ensure proper functioning of all Business System software.

Candidate with following experience will be suitable for Technical Lead role:
  • Understand databases, data modelling and storage, SQL scripting.
  • Code development (C#, Java, etc.), management and deployment, authentication
  • Azure environment, features, and security
  • Mobile App development


Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Certificate in Information Technology NQF level 6 (Essential)
  • Certificate in MSSQL (Essential)
  • Certificate in Dynamics AX/D365 (Essential)
  • Certificate in MS Power Platform (Essential)
  • 2 years’ experience in IT Business Systems Support (Essential)
  • 2 years’ experience in Enterprise Resource Planning implementation and Development (Essential)
  • 2 years’ experience in Project Management (Essential)
  • 2 years’ experience in Automation Development (Essential)

Physical / Legal Requirements:

Job Responsibilities
PowerApps Automations:
  • Support current PowerApps automations.
  • Design and implement new PowerApps automations.
  • Integrate PowerApps automations into D365 Finance and Operations.
  • Design and Plan long-term automation solution/s for group companies.

Application Management (D365 Finance and Operations):
  • Monitor and manage system performance.
  • Support system code development.
  • Co-ordinate code deployment through the deployment life cycle.
  • Support the development of new Powerbase data entities.
  • Manage interfaces between different business systems.
  • Build and maintain virtual business production and development environments.
  • Manage and support Life cycle support and DevOps.
  • Perform housekeeping/maintenance to ensure optimal utilization of systems.
  • Coordinate implementation of corrective action/s in case of system failure.
  • Engage with relevant third parties to assist in system support.
  • Trouble shooting and problem diagnoses as and when problems occur.
  • Monitor interfaces and perform corrective actions where needed solve root cause of integration failures.

Security / Access Control:
  • Control and maintain user access controls to Life cycle support and DevOps.
  • Ensure user roles are assigned accurately.
  • Adhere to company policy regarding confidentiality of data.

Business System Enhancement:
  • Suggest, design, configure system changes.
  • Assist in development of new features.
  • Plan, schedule, and test environment upgrades.

Application Implementations:
  • Support the implementation life cycle of all applications.
  • Analyse requirements for solutions as and when required.
  • Design, implement solutions, and provide post implementation support on all applications.

People Management:
  • Assist, develop and coach team members.
