Senior Microsoft Dynamics BC Developer

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Dynamics BC Developer to join their team.
As a Dynamics BC Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the functionality of Business Central and ensuring it aligns with our organization’s unique requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and test custom applications, extensions, and integrations using AL (Application Language) for Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Customize Business Central to meet specific business needs, including modifying existing functionalities and creating new features.
• Extend the capabilities of Business Central by integrating with other systems and third-party applications.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices.
• Maintain and enhance existing solutions based on user feedback and changing business requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Dynamics BC-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Dynamics BC Developer, with a strong understanding of AL language and Visual Studio Code.
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central development tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in customizing and extending Business Central using AL extensions.
• Knowledge of integration techniques, REST APIs, and data migration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate certification.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for version control and deployment.
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Understanding of finance, supply chain, and manufacturing processes within Business Central.
