POSITION: ERP Project Manager – Long term contract
LOCATION: Beira, Mozambique

Position Overview

A once in a lifetime opportunity to work and live at a world renown Nature Reserve in Mozambique.

The opportunity is for an energetic and experienced Project Manager to join the team for a long-term contract.
The purpose is to manage a large ERP project from inception to completion.
The initial 12 months will be for the 1st of 5 entities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget,
while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop full-scale project plans and schedule project timelines
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Change management by motivating and energize staff for the new technology
  • Translate the technical implementation teams’ requirements to staff’s business language and guide them to produce accurate deliverables
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Quality assurance and risk management
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Ensure adherence to project governance standards and methodologies

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing ERP projects
  • Strong familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Teams
  • Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting
  • Certification in project management will be beneficial (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and manage cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills
  • Direct experience in the sales and distribution industry is highly desirable
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
