Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join our team.

Job Purpose
As our QA Manager, you will lead our quality assurance efforts, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
You will develop and implement policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments and implement controls,
and work closely with various departments to ensure continuous improvement.

 Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities
 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance policies, procedures and product specifications aligned to FSSC and customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular product, process and system inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Train and motivate staff on quality assurance practices, protocols and product specifications.
  • Oversee quality monitoring programs & manage quality metrics / key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure implementation and identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.
  • Address and resolve any quality-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Participate in product development and process improvement projects within the respective plant(s).

Qualification details
  • Degree in Food Sciences or related field.

Experience
  • Proven 2 – 3 years’ experience in quality assurance supervision or a related field.

Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Resilience and agility.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications in quality assurance or related disciplines are a plus.
