Job Overview: An established food producer and retailer is seeking an ERP Analyst with a strong financial background to support the implementation, customization, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within the organization. This role is ideal for a Financial Manager with hands-on Business Central (BC) experience, who can bridge the gap between finance and technology, ensuring seamless integration of ERP processes with financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within the finance function.
Analyze, design, and optimize financial workflows and business processes to align with ERP capabilities.
Provide expert guidance on financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Cash Flow Management.
Configure financial settings within Business Central, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Act as a liaison between the finance team, IT, and external vendors to ensure smooth system implementation and troubleshooting.
Assist in data migration, system testing, user training, and post-go-live support.
Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes within the ERP system.
Stay updated with the latest Business Central updates and industry best practices, recommending improvements where necessary.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA (preferred).
5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting
2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV).
Strong understanding of financial regulations.
Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders.
Strong communication and training skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical users.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
Experience in manufacturing, retail, or professional services industries.
Knowledge of financial automation tools such as OCR invoice processing, expense management, or AI-driven analytics.
