An established food producer and retailer is seeking an ERP Analyst with a strong financial background to support the implementation, customization, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within the organization. This role is ideal for a Financial Manager with hands-on Business Central (BC) experience, who can bridge the gap between finance and technology, ensuring seamless integration of ERP processes with financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within the finance function.
- Analyze, design, and optimize financial workflows and business processes to align with ERP capabilities.
- Provide expert guidance on financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Cash Flow Management.
- Configure financial settings within Business Central, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Act as a liaison between the finance team, IT, and external vendors to ensure smooth system implementation and troubleshooting.
- Assist in data migration, system testing, user training, and post-go-live support.
- Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes within the ERP system.
- Stay updated with the latest Business Central updates and industry best practices, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV).
- Strong understanding of financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders.
- Strong communication and training skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, or professional services industries.
- Knowledge of financial automation tools such as OCR invoice processing, expense management, or AI-driven analytics.
- Strong project management skills
