Job Purpose: The Creditors Controller is responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable function.
This includes ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, maintaining vendor
relationships, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full accounts payable process, including invoice capturing, matching, and payment processing.
Ensure all supplier invoices are authorized and processed in accordance with company policies.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of all creditor transactions.
Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs.
Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties or interest.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries.
Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
Ensure compliance with VAT and other regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Requirements: Education & Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certification in bookkeeping or financial management is advantageous.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in a similar creditors/account’s payable role.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
