A global leading provider of business technology solutions is seeking an
Intermediate Power BI Consultant/Developer, working with business users,
analysts, and developers to design and deliver interactive, data-driven dashboards
and reports that help clients make informed, strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
Translate data into insights through compelling visualizations and storytelling techniques.
Integrate Power BI with a variety of data sources including SQL Server, Dynamics 365, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs.
Build and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query (M).
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand KPIs and reporting needs.
Participate in data governance, documentation, and quality assurance processes.
Support and train end users on dashboard use and self-service capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on enterprise-level BI solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
2–4 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development.
Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
Proficient in connecting Power BI to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.).
Experience in building interactive dashboards and paginated reports.
Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and storytelling.
Ability to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or in progress).
Exposure to Azure Data services.
Experience working with Dynamics 365 or Business Central data models.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT principles and tools.
Familiarity with Agile project delivery.
