POSITION: Sales Consultant
LOCATION: Rustenburg
Organizing and Controlling Customer Base
- Analyze QlikView reports weekly.
- Submit weekly/monthly customer analysis/revenue reports.
- Prepare and schedule customer visits according to customer category.
- Call on existing and potential clients.
- Compiling contacts lists utilizing a range of resources for collecting information to create, maintain and
- Retain customer base.
- Plan sales pitch/services presentations to prospective customers.
- Work within the framework of budget turnover and gross profit.
- Maintaining ongoing customer services by responding objectively to a range of customers.
- Queries/enquiries relating to products or services.
- Selling Goods and Services.
- Ensure all necessary information/documentation is obtained before calling on a customer.
- Obtaining a range of information from customers for identifying needs and establishing customer Profiles.
- Informing/advising customers of a range of products/services available.
- Acknowledging customer needs by recommending alternative goods and services offered.
- Stimulate customer interest by demonstrating and explaining the benefits/end uses of a range of
- products/services.
- Introducing new products in accordance with customer demand.
- Organizing courtesy calls to obtain customer feedback on deliveries and monitoring after sales
- Support systems.
Administration
- Updating customer information on Honeybee.
- Log calls on honeybee as per required standard.
- Liaise with internal support to email quotations to customers.
- Maintaining customer contracts on honeybee.
- Follow-up customer orders.
- Administering petrol expenses occurred.
- Complete new business and lost business reports and submit them to the manager on a monthly basis.
Critical skills
- Valid Driver’s License (Code 08) is essential.
- Proficient in MS Office with excellent computer skills knowledge.
- Must have good telephone skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to listen and interpret information accurately.
- Planning and organizing skills.
- Numerical Skills.
- Good Communication Skills are essential; person must be well spoken and fluent in both English and Afrikaans.

Knowledge
- Stock product knowledge.
- Price list knowledge..
- Know how to enquire on Axapta system
- Know company policy with regards to customer services.
- Product and pricing knowledge.
- Know the services the company has to offer.
- Knows general operation of the company.
- Knowledge of delivery routes and times
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years’ sales experience, with a proven track record in exceeding targets.
- Relevant Sales or Marketing qualifications would be an advantage.
- Owning transport is essential.
- Must be fluent in English, Afrikaans Venda, Tsonga and Sepedi.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Salary Package: Good Basic + (Plus commission & Petrol card)
