POSITION: Senior Systems Specialist LOCATION: Sandton
The purpose of the Senior Systems Specialist role is to provide advanced technical expertise in the design,
implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure. Manage
and provide support on Microsoft Dynamics Navision, CRM, ECM & FSM and other internal systems to all
staff and act for the IT Systems Manager in their absence. The incumbent will lead complex projects, ensure
systems are secure and scalable, and provide third-level support, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security across all systems platforms.
Monitoring the system and the integration components thereof.
System Administration of Nav, CRM, FSM & other systems.
Assist with all user queries and issues on Navision, CRM, FSM and other systems.
Trouble shoot issues logged by users and resolve taking into consideration possible impact on other systems that are integrated.
Process and Procedures
Manage IT Systems’ vendor SLA’s – logging calls etc needs to follow SLA guidelines.
Evaluate and improve current process and procedures to continuously improve output business and network, such as team members, customers and business partners where appropriate.
Assist in driving projects to improve system and business processes, supporting the business on digital transformation.
IT Systems Manager 2IC
Assumes the manager's responsibilities and decision-making in their absence. This may involve overseeing daily operations, handling staff issues, and ensuring tasks are carried out smoothly.
The goal is to maintain continuity and keep the department functioning effectively.
UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
Assist with UAT testing and new developments before going live with products.
Signoff on change controls for deployments.
Training
Deliver internal training to new and existing staff members on Navision as well as Other Systems.
Plan and facilitate Microsoft Dynamics Navision, CRM, FSM & other system trainingprograms.
Update training material when new features and functions are developed, includingcompilation of help manuals.
Data Management
Assess data integrity and created data management plans for users to implement to address problematic data issues.
Incident Management
Manage daily support incidents.
Assign support tickets to the relevant specialists
Feedback to the relevant stakeholders.
Write incident and root cause reports.
Requirement Gathering
Solicit and record business requirements for various stakeholders and projects.
Compile BRS documentation for new and enhanced system features.
Identifying new requirements through engagements with internal business functions.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
IT related Degree / Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
3-5 Years skilled experience in the relevant field.
MS NAV, CRM and ECM experience.
