Sasolburg, Free StatePOSITION: Technical Sales Representative
LOCATION: Sasolburg
REPORTING TO: Sasol Divisional Manager
Duties: The sales representative will report to the Sasol Division Manager, and will be responsible for:
- Calling on clients within the Sasolburg and surrounding areas
- Technical sales and product recommendations to customers
- Achieving sales targets set for the area
- Identify and grow key accounts
- Preparation of quotations
- Manage sales contribution and increase turnover
- Market intelligence and research
- Customer Liaison
- Promoting all products in area of responsibility and surrounding areas
- Identify and grow potential new key accounts and drive new business ventures
- Manage current key accounts effectively
- Sustain customer relations and provide clear direction
- Any other tasks specified in pursuance of the Company’s objectives
Qualifications, Experience & Other Qualities:
- Matric
- Sales/Technical qualification/ Pump or Mechanical seal experience
- 5-10 years’ technical experience with technical sales
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint
- Good communication in English/Afrikaans
- Friendly manners, well-groomed and presentable
- Must be able to work overtime and be on standby
