Job Purpose
The Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing budgets,
preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Reporting
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely submission of management reports and statutory returns.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Manage audits and liaise with external auditors.
Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
Cash Flow & Treasury
Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure operational stability.
Manage banking relationships and optimize working capital.
Leadership
Supervise and mentor finance team members.
Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/CIMA preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management or similar role.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.
Proficiency in financial software (SAGE X3 or Microsoft Dynamics).
Advanced Excel skills.
