Tasks: The Design Draughtsman will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for:

Tasks: The Design Draughtsman will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for:
- Design, drafting and modelling of mechanical seals and expansion joints according to ISO/DIN standards and any other related design/modelling
- Revise existing drawings according to quality procedure when required
- Calculate and use calculation programs
- Offer solutions to technical problems
- Design according to API specification when required
- Creating stock codes and bill of materials on Navision
- Use Solid Edge 2021 (3D) and Teamcenter
- Liaise with different departments
- Proficient in use of measuring instruments
- Ensure drawings and designs meet deadlines
- General Drawing Office duties
Desirable Qualifications, Experience & Other Qualities:
- Matric
- ND Mechanical Engineering S4 or N6
- Proficient in Solid Edge 2021
- 5-10 years technical draughting experience
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word & MS Outlook
- Attention to detail
- Deadline driven
- Customer orientated
- Analytical
- Good communication in English
- Friendly manner, well-groomed and presentable
