Key Account Manager OEM's

POSITION: Key Account Manager OEM’s
LOCATION: Edenvale

Duties: Key Account Management of various OEM key accounts. Provide sales, technical and management support for proprietary products.
 
  • Responsible for the building and maintenance of current and new OEM relationships
  • Making technical support and sales calls to OEM to explore specific needs and identify new opportunities on site
  • Provide technical solutions to applications requiring specific products, expansion joints, mechanical seals, magnetic couplings
  • On site measuring and site support regarding installation of expansion joints, witnessing of pump start up’s, commissioning of magnetic coupling pump, witnessing of pressure and performance testing of magnetic drive pumps
  • Responsible for development of new sales strategies to increase sales for specific products relative to various OEM’s (expansion joints, mechanical seals and magnetic couplings)
  • Troubleshoot any quality and installation issues on site or at the OEM
  • Provide solutions for the quality or installation issues
  • Compose monthly sales forecast and progress reports
  • Constant customer liaison
  • Perform any other duties as required

Qualifications, Experience & Other Qualities:
  • Matric & Sales/Technical qualification
  • Pump or Mechanical seal experience
  • 5-10 years technical experience with technical sales
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to work at heights
  • Must have previous working experience with OEM’s
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans
  • Friendly manner, well-groomed and presentable
  • Customer orientated
  • Presentation skills
  • Negotiation skills
