POSITION: Bookkeeper - Part time LOCATION: Atlantic Hills
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end reporting. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and foreign exchange (Forex) transactions is compulsory.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice capturing and reconciliations.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations (local and foreign currency).
Manage foreign currency cashbooks and process Forex transactions.
Capture and process journals, accruals, and prepayments accurately.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Generate financial reports and provide support to management.
Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams where necessary.
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
Compulsory Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
Experience handling foreign exchange (Forex).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices.
