POSITION: Manager:  Growth, Partnerships & Brand

Job Description:
Purpose of the role
To drive sustainable growth and impact by leading a fundraising, marketing, brand positioning,
stakeholder engagement, and event strategy. This role is responsible for building and maintaining
high-value partnerships with corporate investors, donors and government stakeholders, while raising
the organisations brand and visibility in the market.


Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities
  1. Revenue Generation & Fundraising (Sales Equivalent)
Purpose: Secure funding streams to sustain and scale the organisation’s impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute fundraising and revenue strategies aligned to organisational goals
  • Identify and secure new corporate sponsors, donors, and funding partners
  • Manage and grow existing donor and investor relationships
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and funding pitches
 
  1. Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
Purpose: Build strong, trust-based relationships across corporate, donor, and government networks

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with corporates, NGOs, and government entities
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, forums, and stakeholder engagements
  • Align partnerships with shared value and long-term impact goals
  • Ensure consistent and professional stakeholder communication
 
  1. Marketing, Brand & Communications
Purpose: Strengthen brand visibility, credibility, and storytelling to attract funding and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and communication strategies
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and consistency across all channels
  • Create compelling impact stories, campaigns, and content
  • Manage public relations and media exposure
 
  1. Digital Marketing & Social Media Management
Purpose: Leverage digital platforms to build community, attract donors, and amplify impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all social media platforms and digital campaigns
  • Develop content strategies aligned to organisational goals
  • Monitor and optimise engagement and performance
  • Drive online fundraising and awareness campaigns
 
  1. Events Planning & Coordination
Purpose: Deliver high-impact events that strengthen relationships, enhance brand visibility, and drive funding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute fundraising events, activations, and stakeholder engagements
  • Coordinate logistics, budgets, suppliers, and stakeholder participation
  • Ensure events deliver strong brand and relationship outcomes
  • Leverage events for marketing and fundraising opportunities
 
  1. Brand Management & Promotion
Purpose: Position the organisation as a credible, trusted, and impactful brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain brand identity and guidelines
  • Ensure consistent brand application across all platforms
  • Drive brand campaigns aligned to mission and values
  • Monitor brand perception and reputation
 
  1. Communication & Reporting
Purpose: Ensure transparent, compelling, and professional communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop donor reports, impact reports, and presentations
  • Communicate outcomes, success stories, and value delivered
  • Maintain high-quality written and verbal communication standards
  • Align messaging with organisational strategy and values

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • Proven track record in fundraising for foundations and/or not-for-profit industries
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, market research, and brand management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Demonstrated leadership and organisational experience
  • Proficiency in Google Workspaces, Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software

Additional Skills (Preferred)
  • Understanding and experience in digital and social media space
  • Fluency in multiple languages
  • Valid Driver’s License with own reliable transport
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial, with the ability to articulate the organisation’s products, mission and goals compellingly to clients, donors and partners
