ERP Technical Consultant - Hybrid

POSITION: ERP Technical Consultant
LOCATION: Bryanston/ Hybrid

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly capable ERP Technical Consultant to deliver technical ERP solutions across
multiple customer environments. This is a hands-on technical consulting role focused on deploying, upgrading,
supporting and optimizing ERP solutions for medium-sized organizations and multinational customers. The
successful candidate will work closely with consultants, project managers, developers and customer stakeholders
to ensure stable, scalable and high-performing ERP environments. This role offers exposure to multiple ERP
platforms, customer industries and deployment models while providing a clear path towards Senior Technical
Consultant or Technical Architecture responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
ERP Solution Deployment
  • Install, configure and deploy ERP solutions.
  • Perform ERP upgrades and patch implementations.
  • Support new customer implementations.
  • Assist with ERP environment migrations.
  • Configure technical ERP environments.
ERP Technical Support
  • Resolve technical ERP issues and incidents.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting support.
  • Analyze and improve ERP performance.
  • Act as a senior technical escalation resource.
  • Support customer production environments.
ERP Integration Support
  • Assist with ERP integrations.
  • Support data migration activities.
  • Work alongside developers and integration specialists.
  • Participate in technical solution design workshops.
Customer Engagement
  • Provide technical guidance to customers.
  • Assist project teams during implementation.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Documentation
  • Maintain technical deployment documentation.
  • Document of customer environments.
  • Assist in developing deployment standards and best practices.

Required Experience
Essential
  • 5+ years' experience supporting ERP systems.
  • ERP implementation and deployment experience.
  • Customer-facing consulting experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple customer environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Exposure to on-premises and cloud ERP environments.

Highly Desirable
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Epicor Kinetic.
  • SQL Server.
  • Data migration projects.
  • Microsoft Azure exposure.

Technical Skills
Essential
  • ERP installation and deployment.

Qualifications
  • Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in IT.
  • ERP-specific certifications are advantageous.
