Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end reporting. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and foreign exchange (Forex) transactions is compulsory.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end reporting. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and foreign exchange (Forex) transactions is compulsory.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice capturing and reconciliations.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations (local and foreign currency).
- Manage foreign currency cashbooks and process Forex transactions.
- Capture and process journals, accruals, and prepayments accurately.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate financial reports and provide support to management.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
Compulsory Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
- Experience handling foreign exchange (Forex).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting/Bookkeeping (advantageous if higher).
- 3–5 years’ proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
- Experience working in a multi-currency environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
