and provide strategic support to management through accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Budget management: Develop, monitor, and analyse budgets to support business objectives.
- Cash flow management: Oversee daily cash flow, forecasting, and liquidity planning.
- Tax compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations and timely submission of returns.
- Audit support: Liaise with external auditors and ensure internal controls are effective.
- Team supervision: Guide junior accountants and finance staff, fostering professional growth.
- Financial analysis: Provide insights into cost control, profitability, and investment opportunities.
Skills & Competencies
- Accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP knowledge).
- Analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Leadership and ability to manage a small team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional certification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA) will be an advantage but not essential.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
- Experience in corporate finance or medium-sized business environments.
