POSITION: Supervisor: Fresh Production LOCATION: Malmesbury REPORTING TO:Factory Manager
Job Purpose Supervise the end-to-end production process, incl. trim inspection, grinding, mixing, spooling,
filling, packing, wrapping, labelling of all boerewors/sausage, burgers, meatballs and value add products.
Output: Production
Responsible for mince, skin pack, fresh cut MAP and value add production process.
Develop, review and implement efficient and effective procedures and processes to optimize production.
Responsible for the delivery of product according to a set standard, at a reasonable cost and productivity.
Stock control management (stock rotation).
Ensure product meets all customer requirements especially but not limited to product appearance, packing and labelling.
Oversee that hygiene standards are applied throughout all process and procedures.
Responsible for the application of the correct selection criteria and quality standards (e.g. neatness; sequence etc.) of labelling.
Ensure that all procedures are implemented in accordance with legal requirements e.g. hygiene.
Report all non-conformances (quality and maintenance) to immediate manager and apply effective remedial action according to company procedures.
People Supervision
Supervise and control subordinate's activities to ensure daily production targets are met.
Supervise time and attendance of all subordinates.
Ensure disciplinary procedures are applied adequately.
Assure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive and performing working environment.
SHEQ
Always ensure acceptable personal hygiene of all staff.
Always manage correct use of PPE.
Ensure that process and product hygiene standards are always maintained.
All duties are performed according to the group Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and procedures.
Minimum Requirements Qualification details
Grade 12 is required.
Experience
3 – 5 years’ operational experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Salary:
R 14,000.00 CTC per month.
